United Opposition and "European Georgia" meet diplomats several days before the elections. The main topic of the conversation is related to the developments in the regions and especially in Zugdidi.
One of the leaders of "European Georgia" Gigi Tsereteli says that the elections are in a decisive phase and the situation is especially tense. According to him, the Ambassadors were asked at the meeting to delegate their representatives in the regions.
"Since there are no international observers, the ambassadors were asked to send their representative to where the elections are held. It will be Zugdidi, Mtatsminda, Marneuli, Ozurgeti or other places where there is a danger that the situation is getting worse because we see that the government is already taking a very bad direction with their supporters, "Tsereteli said.
Salome Samadashvili, one of the leaders of the National Movement says that representatives of the diplomatic corps should know that no recommendations from the international organizations have been fulfilled.
"Our request to both the European Union and the United States will be to make a very strong warning before the elections," Salome Samadashvili said.
