The United States has imposed sanctions against the Foreign Minister of Iran. Washington said Mohammad Javad Zarif has been representative of the Iranian regime on the international arena for years and has been involved in detrimental activities.
Sanctions mean blocking all ministerial assets in the United States. The US Treasury Department also reserves the right to blacklist those who have certain businesses with Zarif.
The Iranian Foreign Minister has already said that US sanctions will not harm him.
