The Legal Committee recommended 14 candidates to the judiciary

The Legal Issues Committee voted for the candidates for the Supreme Court. It’s members recommended 14 candidates to the judiciary out of 20 people listed.

The Committee on Legal Issues endorsed the following candidates:

Merab Gabinashvili - 7 votes, Miranda Eremadze - 6 votes, Mamuka Vasadze - 7 votes, Maia Vachadze - 7 votes, Tamar Zambakhidze - 8 votes, Shalva Tadumadze - 8 votes, Vladimer Kakabadze - 6 votes, Levan Mikaberidze - 6 votes, Giorgi Mikautadze - 8 votes, Nugzar Skhirtladze - 6 votes, Lali Papiashvili - 7 votes, Nino Kadagidze - 7 votes, Ketevan Tsintsadze - 6 votes, Alexandre Tsuladze - 6 votes.
The committee failed the following candidates:

Tamar Alania - 1 vote, Gocha Jeiranashvili - 1 vote, Lasha Kochiashvili - 1 vote, Zaza Tavadze - 0, Shota Getsadze - 1, Paata Silagadze - 2 votes.
The MPs will have to approve the candidates at a parliamentary session.
