The Foreign Minister of Georgia says that he is saddened by the news of the Ukrainian plane crash in Iran claiming the lives of all on board.

“Deeply saddened by the news of the #Ukrainian plane crash in Iran claiming the lives of all on board. Our sincere condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this terrible tragedy”, - tweeted Davit Zalkaliani.

The Boeing 737 belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed soon after taking off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini airport on Wednesday, killing all 176 people aboard. Iranian media said the crash was due to technical problems but did not elaborate.
