Investigation launched after Nika Gvaramia physically abused – MIA

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched a criminal investigation into the physical abuse of Nika Gvaramia, the Director-General of the Mtavari Arkhi TV Company.

The investigation is launched under the Article 126, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving beating or other violence that has caused the victim physical or mental pains.

The incident happened at the Tbilisi City Court, with three persons being questioned shortly after the incident.
