36-year-old man killed a married couple in Gardabani

Law enforcers opened a murder case in Gardabani municipality that took place last year and arrested G.I. (1984).

Investigation revealed that the accused killed a married couple, S.M. (1942 and 1935), then illegally seized the victims’ money and fled the scene. The couple died as a result of injuries. The accused pleaded guilty.

The investigation launched under Article 109, part 3, subsection (a) of the Criminal Code of Georgia into the premeditated murder of two or more persons in aggravating circumstances. The crime envisages from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
