Prosecutorial Council shortlists four candidates – one of them is Irakli Shotadze

The Prosecutorial Council has selected four candidates for the Prosecutor General position. One of them is the former Prosecutor General Irakli Shotadze.

Three other candidates are - Sophio Shengelia with 9 votes, Valerian Vacharadze with 8 votes and Dariko Tordia with 7 votes from twelve members of the Council.

Tomorrow, February, 7, another vote will be held, after which, the candidate selected by the Prosecutorial Council will be submitted to the Parliament for approval.
