A pre-trial hearing on the case of investigator regarding 15-year-old Luka Siradze starts today at the Tbilisi City Court. Mariana Choloiani’s process will begin at 12:00 PM.

The Court is going to discuss the issue of detention for the accused at the session.

The Court charged Choloiani with two episodes of crime under part 1 of Article 335 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (forcing to give testimony by an officer). According to the investigation, Choloiani continued to interrogate juveniles by confronting witnesses, which resulted in juvenile psychological stress.

15-years-old Luka Siradze, who had attempted to take his own life, passed away at Iashvili Children"s hospital on 17 December.
