Irakli Gharibashvili met with Ilham Aliyev

The Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili is paying a 2-day official visit to Azerbaijan.

Gharibashvili held his first meeting with the President of the country Ilham Aliyev. At the Presidential Palace they talked about the importance of stability in the region, strategic partnerships, and joint projects.

The Minister thanked the Azerbaijanian side for supporting Georgia"s territorial integrity and sovereignty. The Defense Minister focused on the good relationship between the neighboring countries and strategic partnership with Azerbaijan.
