WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic - 24 cases confirmed in Georgia

The World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic as the new coronavirus, which was unknown to world health officials just three months ago, has rapidly spread to more than 121 000 people from Asia, to Europe, the Middle East and now parts of the U.S.

In Georgia there are already 24 cases of coronavirus. The latest case is related to a trip to Italy.

According to the latest statistics in Georgia, 24 people are infected, 295 are in quarantine, and 49 under the observation.
