Numbers compiled by Johns Hopkins University found that the total number of confirmed cases worldwide achieves 3 065 812.
The outbreak has also claimed the lives of more than 211 662 people around the world.
The United States remained the hardest-hit nation with 1 010 507 infected people.
So far, the country has recorded the highest number of deaths at 56 803.
