The Minister of Defense of Georgia held introductory meetings with the ambassadors of Estonia and France.

Defence cooperation between Georgia and France was discussed in a meeting of Irakli Chikovani and Sheraz Gasri, the French Ambassador to the country.

He thanked the “strategic partner” state for practical and political support and noted its “significant contribution” to the development of the capabilities of the Georgian Defence Forces. The meeting focused on the contribution of France within the framework of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package and the European Peace Facility.

Directions envisaged by the 2024 bilateral military cooperation plan was discussed with the Estonian Ambassador, hope for the future “successful” cooperation was expressed.
