The confrontation between the ruling party and the President - how realistic are the allegations that by vetoing the wiretapping law , the president creates threats to the country`s security. These charges received strong response from the President`s administration, which says that if the allegations are true, then the criminal case should be launched.

"This tension is often ignited by the representatives of the President`s team , who make incorrect assessments. This is the reason for the statements made on our part. We believe that it is important to respect the institutions. Unfortunately, we are witnessing recently statements of the President`s administration, which manifest lack of respect to the Parliament as an institution , "- said the Chairman of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee , George Kakhiani.

The head of the Parliament`s Legal Affairs Committee, Eka Beselia thinks that the fact that the President vetoed the wiretapping law three times is not a normal process.
