Leaders of GUAM countries have held an extended meeting and discussed the summit"s political importance.

This is the first time when the GUAM Summit is being held in Kiev and Georgia chairs the meeting.

" It is not accidental that under Georgia’s chairmanship the program is presented under the motto " Together for strong GUAM", because we are going to strengthen not only GUAM , but our countries as well with join effortsWe have discussed all important issues and agreed to continue to work for the GUAM"s development. We have also noticed that our challenges are linked to
the unresolved conflicts in the GUAM region,"- said Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Volodymyr Groysman , the Prime Minister of Ukraine has also commented on the issues discussed at the extended meeting.
" We have clearly defined steps for future cooperation. We have discussed economic cooperation issues, as well as political relations,"- he said.

The Georgian PM will leave Ukraine today.
