Members of opposition believe that the law on eavesdropping violates requirements, demanded by the Constitutional Court.
" Due to this law we woke up in a new reality, in a country, where special services have tights, which will be misused,"- states Roman Gotsiridze, a Chairman of the faction National Movement.
European Georgia claims that consultations in regard to the law continue and they are going to appeal against them at the court.
" we had launched consultation, before the majority overcame the President"s veto. We have consultations with non-governmental sector, non-parliamentary parties and other political parties as well as the President. We discuss what should be done if the majority adopts this law,"- said Giorgi Tugushi.
Free Democrats believe that the majority plans to use this law a political purpose.
"This is not a way to build a legal and democratic state . We actually move away from the European and civilized space and start to look like Russia," - said Shalva Shavgulidze.
