Extraordinary meeting - European politicians haave questions to majority on so-called wiretapping law
The European politicians specifically requested the meeting with the majority group working on the so-called wiretapping law . PACE Monitoring Committee members were interested whether the law is in line with the Constitutional Court`s requirements.

Monitoring Committee members did not make comments for the media ,while the majority states that they answered all the questions.

The opposition claims the opposite. National movement declare that the decision is contrary to the law of the Constitutional Court. The demand of the Constitutional Court was to remove the so-called key from the State Security Agency. State security agency should not have had direct access to the servers for mobile operators.

The European Georgia is planning to appeal the so-called wiretapping law and has already started consultations with other opposition parties . The party considers that the practice of illegal wiretapping is continued.
