A new version of constitution does not contribute to the balance between the branches of the government and the balancing policy, - said the President’s Press Speaker at the press conference today.

Eka Mishveladze introduced Giorgi Margvelashvili"s position to the journalists about the project developed by the Constitutional Commission.

"The right of a voter is deprived in a new project . However, even more alarming is a negative impact , which restriction of president"s rights will have on security and defense capabilities of the country. The constitutional work should be based on universal consensus and we believe that hold a plebiscite on principle issues is a very interesting idea. We have the impression that the Speaker of Parliament is incorrectly informed,"- said Eka Mishveladze.
