Former patrol police officer makes scandalous statement - Police Chief requests from us to write high fines

"The head of the police requested us to write high fines ," said Gia Khalvashi, former former patrol police officer from Batumi.

According to him, the head of the police department, Kakha Bukhradze ordered to tighten fines.

"No tolerance, no prevention. It the violation deserved 50-GEL penalty, we should not have taken it into consideration and write out a 200 -lari fine, " - Gia Khalvashi said.

He said that fines should hav been unfair and he was the first to resist this approach.

According to Gia Khalvashi, Kakha Bukhradze was putting pressure on him and as a result, released him .

We remind you that on March 11-12, in Batumi, the demonstrations started from fining a driver for exceedng speed.
