Prime Minister of Georgia will pay an official visit to Romania today. Giorgi Kvirikashvili will meet with the President and Prime Minister of Romania.

Within the framework of the visit, the head of the government will have meetings with the President of the Romanian Senate and President of the Chamber of Deputies. Giorgi Kvirikashvili will also attend the joint reception dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Georgia and Romania.

"There is big interest of Romania, in energy resources of Central Asia and the Caspian Sea, so they are very interested in relations with Georgia," said Ilia Giorgadze, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Romania.
