Judges Will not Leave Their Position due to reorganization - Kobakhidze introduced an entry in the constitution to judges

Irakli Kobakhidze, a Chairman of parliament has introduced the amendments to the constitution , which are planned in the new project of the Constitution of Georgia in the direction of justice. Levan Murusidze, Secretary of the High Council of Justice of Georgia notes that this is the most important entry , according to which judges will not be dismissed during reorganization.


"In 2004 judges were dismissed from the positions. Liquidation of judges and reorganization took place, courts were unified and therefore some judges remained in their positions, and many of them had to leave. ,"-said Levan Murusidze.

Kakhaber Sophromadze, a member of the High Council of Justice of Georgia, the court must have more independence guarantees.
