This is a great political support for Georgia - A Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has commented on the importance of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Miklei Janelidze has underlined that the NATO recognizes the ongoing reforms in Georgia, its democratic progress and strengthening of democratic institutions.

"After regaining independence, we are a country associated with Europe, we are a part of Euro-Atlantic security and have very deep, close cooperation with the NATO and its aspirant country. Today it is quite symbolic that the the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is held on the Independence day in Georgia. This is a great political support, "Mikheil Janelidze said.
