Georgian pilot Soso Osorauli captured in Congo is allegedly dead - family members announce rallies

The meeting in connection with Georgian pilot who died in Congo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs lasted for more than 2 hours behind closed doors. According to Kurieri, former senior officials of the Ministry of Defense gathered at the initiative of Janelidze`s office.

According to the defense expert Amiran Salukvadze, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released information on the death of Soso Osorauli based on the letter received by the Ministry.

Information about the consultations carried by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not been disclosed in the media. The Kurieri crew was informed that the group was conducted in question-answer mode by the group, which has been working for the fourth month on the case of Georgian captive in the Congo.

Family members of Soso Osorauli who have received information about the meeting scheduled at the Ministry today, announce the protest rallies and talked about the necessity of involvement of the NGO sector.

The National Movement believes that it is necessary to send a working group to study the situation in Congo. In the majority, they say that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs uses the maximum forces to determine the wherabouts of Soso Osorauli.

Georgian pilot has been in captivity since January 27. The rebels dropped two helicopters of the Congo Air Force.
