Two Azeri citizens have been detained by the Investigative Department of the Finance Ministry on the Georgian border due to violation of law on transportation of goods.

According to the Ministry, the investigation revealed that the accused crossed the border through the checkpoint "Red Bridge" . They have violated the customs regulations while transporting 1 394.38 grams of gold without declaration. The value of jewelry is 676 336.63 GEL.
