The Prosecutor`s Office of Tbilisi is investigating a possible abuse of power against a young woman.

According to the victim, on the morning of June 15, the Head of the 7th Division of Old Tbilisi Police and another two policemen from the same department physically abused her.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has also released a special statement on this issue. According to the agency, police officers who arrived at the site encountered a
drunk woman born in 1996 who had various injuries on her body.

Attorneys appealed to Tbilisi Prosecutor`s Office yesterday to demand investigation.
