New suspicious circumstances in case of Afgan Mukhtarly - Attorney asks to extract video material obtained by PS

Archil Chopikashvili, the lawyer of Afgan Mukhtarly is at the police department in Old Tbilisi. According to the lawyer, he demands an immediate investigation of further suspicious circumstances, as revealed by the video-material obtained by P.S.

He means allegedly edited footage that reflects the route of Afgan Mukhtarly.

The lawyer of the detained journalist appealed to the investigative body to remove all the video cameras that could record a kidnapping of the journalist.

In particular, it is about removing materials from surveillance cameras on Niagvari and Chovelidze streets.

Archil Chopikashvili says that if the video material will not be removed and investigated timely , the probability of opening the case will be equal to zero.
