Parliamentary Majority and Minority can not reach agreement on parliamentary involvement form in Azerbaijani Journalist`s Case

Parliamentary majority and minority can not agree on the format of parliamentary involvement in the case of Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtar. The opposition is demanding the responsibility of high ranking officials together with the creation of a parliamentary investigative commission.

Eka Beselia, the Chairwoman of the Legal Issues Committee, speaks about the need to hold consultations .

"It will not be a conspiratorial meeting but it will be neither open nor live, because we want to get a lot of information during this working meeting, which can be a bit awkward to talk about. Because here, the case concerns the relations between the two countries, "- Eka Beselia said.

Chairman of the National Movement faction, Roman Gotsiridze demands immediate release of the ministers of law enforcement ministries and of the Education and Science Minister.

Gigi Tsereteli, chairperson of the parliamentary faction "Movement for Freedom - European Georgia" says that the party requested a meeting with law enforcers since the first days.
