The founding congress of Women`s Organization of "European Georgia" is underway at this moment. The delegates are electing the chairperson and members of the organization. Elene Khoshtaria, Tbilisi Mayoral candidate for "European Georgia" has addressed the gathering at the congress. She said that women can make necessary changes in the country.

"This is not our career fight, it"s not our party fight, it"s a fight for the idea. This is a struggle for change that is so vital today for our country and I`m sure that we, women, with our determination, will bring the necessary changes in our country with our principles ! "- said Elene Khoshtaria.

She thinks women should take the initiative in their own hands.

According to the Tbilisi mayoral candidate, stereotypes in the country are still in existence and it is necessary to break these stereotypes.

"I, as the mother of 4 children, directly tell you that there is no stereotype that one can not be a caring mother and a publicly active woman. On the contrary, we understand better what our children needn the future, "said Elene Khoshtaria.

Davit Bakradze, Chairman of "European Georgia - Movement for Freedom" delivered a speech at the congress. He reminded the audience that at self-governing elections the fate of every person is in the hands of any citizen

He said that Georgia needs changes and the country should be more European.
