"I am wondering why Abesadze became a target when the whole City Hall is involved in corruption," -said Zaal Udumashvili, Tbilisi mayoral candidate of the United National Movement, regarding detention of the senior official of the City Hall Otar Abesadze.

According to the mayoral candidate, the city hall has turned into a corrupt machine.

"This man was caught taking a bribe of 3 thousand dollars, but we all know that high-ranking officials in the City Hall today make millions and it"s interesting when they will be held responsible. In general, corruption is the government"s stance and consequently Tbilisi City Hall has become a big money-making machine in terms of this government. This will continue until the "Georgian Dream" is in power , " - Zaal Udumashvili said.
