Turkish Ambassador spoke about the developments in Turkey a year ago. Zeki Levent Gumrukuu once again condemned the coup attempt and thanked the Georgian government for its support. At the press conference, the Ambassador of Turkey spoke about the case of Demirel"s college manager and said that Mustafa Emre Chabuk should prove his innocence before the court. According to the Ambassador, the arguments in the indictment written in Turkey prove that he was a member of the terrorist organization.

"It is unthinkable and unacceptable that the lives or security of those people is under any threat in the court. No one can name any specific example of those who faced the court, security and became victims of torture or inhuman treatment. No one can name this one particular example if we do not consider some organizations which write their report overseas and only when they are writing, are based on the facts heard from far away, " - said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Georgia Zeki Levent Gumruku.
