Three witnesses of the prosecution were questioned at the Tbilisi City Court on the case of Temur Janashia, former head of the Special State Protection Service. Including the representative of the Medical Department of the State Security Service.

According to Janashia, the prosecution witness has confirmed that the costs defined by the Prosecutor`s Office as embezzlement were related to medical procedures of the former President Mikheil Saakashvili and that covering the cost of medical expenses was the direct obligation of the special security service. Besides that, the prosecutor`s office violated the law by disclosing personal information on health.
