According to opposition, European experts see that Georgia`s European future is under question

The opposition agrees with the opinion of the Carnegie Center analyst Thomas de Waal about the visit of the US Vice President to Georgia and the existing political situation.

De Waal writes that Georgia is still a success story in an authoritarian neighborhood, three recent trends are a reminder that elements of that story are reversible - constitutional changes, xenophobic manifestations and kidnapping of the journalist Afgan Mukhtarli.

Giga Bokeria, the deputy leader of the parliamentary minority, member of the Faction of European Georgia, thinks that the list of problems in the article is incomplete but accurate.

According to him, all the experts who are watching the events in Georgia, see that under the Georgian Dream government, there is a very dangerous trend in the country.

"Tom de Waal, who as one of the well-known experts in the of the region was making great hopes of the new team , has been very clear today," - Giga Bokeria said.

Salome Samadashvili, deputy chairperson of the National Movement faction states that the actions of the ruling party threaten Georgia`s Euro-Atlantic future and it clearly seen by the experts who criticized the ruling party.

"Today they also see the real, objective reality that has been created in the country and threatens the future of this country in the Euro-Atlantic space," - Salome Samadashvili said.
