Prime Minister of Georgia expresses sorrow over death of Georgian military in Afghanistan

The Prime Minister of Georgia expresses his condolences over the death of Georgian military serviceman, 25-year-old Junior Sergeant, Mdinar Bebiashvili in Afghanistan.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili publishes the statement on his official facebook page.

"I express my deep sorrow over the death of the junior sergeant of the 23rd Infantry Battalion of the II Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Armed Forces participating in the Resolute Support mission during the attack in Afghanistan.

I share the greatest pain of his family and friends. This is a pain of each of us."

"Our three soldiers were also injured - Captain Mikheil Gvirjishvili, Senior Lieutenant Giga Khakhutashvili and Corporal Gela Kharshiladze who are being treated and I wish them a better recovery.
