"As of 2008 war, Georgia has lost less territory than after 2012," Paata Davitaia

"I would like to emphasize that Georgia lost less territory in the 2008 war, than with the creeping occupation since 2012," - said Paata Davitaia, the leader of Georgia"s European Democrats while commenting on the statement, made by the Georgian Health Minister.

Non-parliamentary opposition members are concerned about Sergeenko"s statement.

"I would like to remind him that there are no boundaries under the constitution of Georgia with the so-called South Ossetia and according to the constitution there is no Autonomous District of South Ossetia, it is abolished . The entire territory is a part of Georgia and in reality, the Russian Federation occupies Georgian territory and it is absurd to justify it with the situation of 2008,"- said Paata Davtiaia.
Nikoloz Vashakidze, the founder of " New Unity for Georgia" evaluates Davit Sergeenko"s statement as well.
" If entering Georgian territory, borderization is not a creeping occupation, it would be difficult to imagine " Georgian Dream"s" leaders" view regarding sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Georgian Dream"s heads, "Nikoloz Vashakidze said.
