The body of Mdinari Bebiashvili was transferred to his native village of Martotubani in Zestaponi region late last night. The junior sergeant killed in Afghanistan will be buried with military honors on Thursday.

The body of the Georgian soldier was brought from Afghanistan by an American military plane yesterday. Georgian and foreign miilitary, commander-in-chief and government officials met the body at the Tbilisi airport.

25-year-old Mdinari Bebiashvili died several days ago in the vicinity of the Bagam aviation base.

Bebiashvili is the 32nd military whom Georgia lost in international peacekeeping missions.
