The 23rd Battalion of the II Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Armed Forces has returned from the Central African Republic. The military servicemen were met by the Western Commander of the Land Forces of the Georgian Armed Forces and Commander of the II Infantry Brigade at the Alekseevka military airfield.

The Georgian platoon took part in a military-training mission under the auspices of the European Union in the Central African Republic for 6 months.
