Many people still suffer from continuous occupation - Ketevan Tsikhelashvili

One of the most difficult dates in the recent history of Georgia - the members of the government assess the events that took place 9 years ago. According to them, the local population is most affected by the creeping occupation , but the government is standing by them.

"This is one of the hardest dates in the recent history of Georgia, so many people are still suffering from continuous occupation and our message to them today is that we are standing next to them," - said State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

Mikheil Giorgadze, Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, is convinced that with reasonable policy, Georgia will eventually reach full de-occupation of the country.
