Russia will supply the occupied Abkhazia with military equipment. The relevant document was signed in Moscow by Alexander Fomin, Deputy Defense Minister of Russia and the so-called Sokhumi regime Chief of General Staff Anatoly Khrilov, .

The document envisages transfer of military property to Sokhumi.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the relevant works are held within the framework of the agreement signed between the parties. This document implies the modernization of the occupied Abkhazia`s armed forces.

During the meeting, the discussion on the functioning of the Russian base in the territory of Abkhazia and the creation of united forces was also discussed.
