Former Chief Prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze has left Georgia.

Family members confirm this information, but they exclude that he ran out of the country and say that Otar Partskhaladze has gone t on vacation.

Investigation into 2 criminal cases in law enforcement agencies, where Partskhaladze is the main figure, is still in progress.

One of the cases involves the attack on former head of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia.

Lasha Tordia blames the law enforcers for delaying the case. He claims he was given the status of the victim 3 months ago and nothing has changed since then. Former Chief Auditor does not exclude that Otar Partskhaladze uses his influence in law enforcement agencies.

According to Tordia, Otar Partskhaladze, together with several people, attacked him in one of the cafes in Tbilisi and the main reason was the investigation in the State Audit Office into possible corruption activities of the former Chief Prosecutor.

Investigation into the case was launched by the Prosecutors Office on the basis of the Audit Office`s conclusion several months ago. Documents disclosed by the agency confirmed that the deal between Partskhaladze and the City Hall was held. The former Chief Prosecutor"s Company is liable to compensate of the damage received by LLC BGD Development and City Hall.

The former chief prosecutor`s attorneys call the documents published by the audit "absurd". According to the attorneys, Partskhaladze gave an exhaustive testimony to both investigations.
