The Prime Minister of Georgia is paying yhe first official visit to Turkmenistan. Giorgi Kvirikashvili will meet with the President of the country and the Chairman of the Mejlis.
Several memorandums will be signed - including agreement on transportation.

Intergovernmental meeting is planned to focus on developing closer ties between countries. Within the framework of the visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia will visit Turkmenistan Olimpic Village.

"We will sign a number of documents, it will be a transport agreement, including an agreement between the Anaklia port and Turkmen port, which is of course will assist in the development of transport corridors," said Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Kumsishvili.
