"Ukrainian side asked whether the extradition demand of Saakashvili was still in force ," Tea Tsulukiani

Tea Tsulukiani, the Minister of Justice of Georgia, says that the Georgian side sent a request in regard to Mikheil Saakashvili"s extradition in response to the Ukrainian side"s official question.

"The Ukrainian side asked a few days ago if the documents and extradition requirements were still in force today. They received the response from the Prosecutor"s Office , saying yes, these requirements stay in force. We have forwarded the same documents once again," - said Tea Tsulukiani, Minister of Justice of Georgia .

According to her, she does not know exactly what are plans of Ukraine and why they wanted to know about Mikheil Saakashvili"s extradition. However sje states that there are certain legal procedures underway in Kiev.
