Whether the consumer price for electricity will increase will likely be known today. Members of the Regulatory Commission will discuss the tariff adjustment for 2017 electricity generation.

"Based on the tariff methodology, the Commission is authorized to make adjustments of tariffs taking into account thermal power tariffs," - said Givi Sanikidze, Director of Tariffs and Economic Analysis Department of the Commission

The Commission has been applied by 4 thermal power plants. According to the commission , the decision made will come into effect from the new year. Today`s public meeting will be broadcast on the Facebook page of the Commission.
