Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia met with British Secretary of State

The State Secretary of the United Kingdom met with the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze. According to Boris Johnson, Britain is interested in developing cooperation with Georgia in many directions and intends to visit Georgia in the nearest future.

In parallel, the fourth meeting of the "Georgia - United Kingdom Strategic Dialogue"
is being held in London, which was opened by Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Defense and State Minister of the United Kingdom.

"Cooperation between Georgia and the United Kingdom is developing. We believe that strengthening of defense and security in Georgia is important for the European continent and we will talk about these issues during the meeting. We will also discuss trade relations. I"m glad that in recent years the UK has increased the import of Georgian wine by 25% and the number of British tourists in Georgia has also increased, "- said Boris Johnson, the Foreign Minister of Great Britain.
