The family of Giorgi Lukava, who is in prison in occupied Abkhazia, is demanding his release. According to Lukava`s wife, the Georgian government is not working on the release of Lukava.

According to Lali Basaria, , the Georgian side could not exchange the Abkhazian prisoner for Giorgi Giunashvili, as Georgia did not have such a prisoner.

"If this happened in reality, then why was this secret - I would ask the government to answer this question. Russia demanded Chechens and Cossack, Abkhazian prisoner did not exist in Georgian state. Lukava Giorgi is pardoned by the de facto president of Abkhazia, by a decree signed on May 20th but somebody in the Georgian government does notwant Lukava Giorgi to be released, "said Lali Basaria, wife of Giorgi Lukava.
