Parliament approved state budget for 2018

Parliament approved the state budget for 2018. 111 MPs voted for the main financial document of the country. No one has voted against.

Voting was preceded by an acute debate. Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze was criticized by the opposition. He was reminded of the period when he was the head of the Georgian Railway.

In addition, the opposition criticized the Finance Minister for impairing the national currency.

The legislative body will had to vote for the constitutional project in the first reading today, but due to insufficient number of MPs in the hall, the vote was postponed for tomorrow morning.
