Zviad Ratiani"s case - decision of City Court was appealed

The attorneys appealed against the decision of Tbilisi City Court regarding Zviad Ratiani"s case. The prosecution accused the poet in violating Article 2 of the Administrative Code, which implies petty hooliganism and resistance to police.

The court fined Zviad Ratiani with a fine of 2000 GEL. Ratiani"s lawyer is talking about absence of evidences and demands to cancel the fine.

In addition, Ratiani"s defense side plans to apply for general inspection next week. The lawyer asks for answers on why the publicized footage was s fragmented and shot with a mobile phone.
