We demand that Strasbourg recognize the breach of relevant articles of the European Convention - "GYLA"

The Young Lawyers" Association will send a new complaint to Strasbourg on request of reviewing complaints to the European Court. It is about 4 cases in which the Georgian authorities took the responsibility to investigate.

"GYLA" states that the cases where the law enforcers are accused of the facts of possible misconduct and the violations of the articles of the European Convention have not yet been investigated.

"All cases are principally linked to the facts of possible offense by law enforcers. Under conditions where the authorities did not conduct an effective investigation into the actions of the previous government, The expectation that the authorities will investigate such offenses or other categories of offenses committed by lawenforcers or related to the activities of the law enforcement agencies is minimal, "- said Sulkhan Saladze, Chairman of "GYLA".

Representatives of the third sector are talking about the precedent of the complaint and demand an independent investigation body.
