The experts of the International Olympic Committee, Pamela Waipond and Gilbert Fell are in Georgia.

They held meetings with the head of the Olympic Committee, Minister of Culture and Economy and Prime Minister.

The reason for the visit was the decision made after the meeting of Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach.

The Georgian side officially expressed a desire to host the 2030 Olympic Games.

The Group of Experts will study mountain resorts of Georgia, their potential and determine what works and implementation of infrastructural projects will require the country to host important sporting events in winter.
