Resolution against Russia - Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament supports formation of Tatunashvili-Otkhozoria list

Resolution against Russia - The Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament supports a formation of the Tatunashvili-Otkhozoria list.

The document states that the special Otkhozoria-Tatunashvili list should be created, which should impose specific sanctions on the representatives of the occupational regime.

Despite the fact that all the parties share the spirit of the resolution and the ultimate aims, the discussion is still a matter of heated argument.

Giga Bokeria, the deputy leader of the parliamentary minority faction "European Georgia", stated that the appeal of the Prime Minister to Russia was a wrong step.

Archil Talakvadze, the Leader of the parliamentary majority "Georgian Dream" does not share the criticism of Bokeria.

"The statement of the Prime Minister was the statement of the leader who has the responsibility of governing the country ," Talakvadze said.

Salome Samadashvili, the Deputy Chairman of United National Movement faction called on the government to start consultations with the European Union about sanctions on Russia.

The leader of the majority responded that the international community welcomed the format of negotiations produced by Georgia.

However, who will be on the list will be decided by the executive government.

The government was ordered to submit a list of all individuals who have been involved in murder, torture and inhuman treatment of Georgian citizens before June 15.
