The 43rd round of the Geneva International Discussions ended without concrete results. Participants of the discussions have not received a joint statement on non-use of force. They could not agree on the text. The main meeting of the two-day consultations has recently ended.

The Russian Federation did not take any political responsibility on the murder of Archil Tatunashvili and did not agree to the text that the Georgian side wanted.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin made a statement.

"Unfortunately we could not agree on the text. Participants have different opinions about what they can and what they need to write. The emphasis is on the status and 2008 agreement, which is also different in Tbilisi, Sokhumi, Tskhinvali, Moscow and elsewhere. Despite the difficulty, the dialogue was constructive, though from time to time emotional. We discussed the unpleasant, serious and tragic cases that are occasionally happening in our life, I mean the death of a citizen of Georgia Tatunashvili, we recaled l the case of Otkhozoria ", Grigory Karasin said.
