The former head of the road department Giorgi Seturidze talks about the reasons for his replacement.

Giorgi Seturidze, the former head of the Road Department says that resignation was his decision and the new Minister was a mediator between him and the Prime Minister.

Seturidze rules out the existence of corruption in the department and says that all tenders in his office were transparent.

"We should give new leadership the opportunity to carry out their staff policy," said Kheturidze.

While speaking about the reasons for his dismissal Seturidze says that " the Chairman of the Road Department has a big responsibility and most likely it was caused by personal views."

He also spoke about Irakli Karseladze, who had already been nominated to replace Seuridze. As Setuuradze notes, Karseladze and Maia Tskitishvili know each other for a long time and the minister trusts him.

Seuturidze denies the allegations that have repeatedly voiced the opposition about his activities.
